Italian furniture brand Natuzzi is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Established since 1959, Natuzzi has always specialised in producing elegant, high quality leather upholstery which has led to it becoming a global leader, as well as Italy’s largest furniture company. This experience and the brand’s dedication to stylish living is illustrated by Natuzzi’s constant innovation to produce beautiful furniture and accessories. Every year new designs, colours and finishes are introduced to suit a multitude of tastes, all of which demonstrate Italian craftsmanship and numerous levels of customisation - just what you need to ensure total satisfaction with the finished product taking pride of place in your living room.
The new Wave sofa is just one of the new designs added to the Natuzzi collection. Inspired by the 1970s and demonstrating streamlined design with low seating, the Wave is perfect for relaxing at the end of a long day. To ensure complete comfort it has movable headrests, which adjust in both height and angle to suit your space and style. It comes in a range of leathers and fabrics, and as with all of Natuzzi’s sofas it is available in a variety of compositions, from a two-seater sofa to a large sectional corner unit.
Another new model to join the range is the Sigma sofa. The contemporary design is strikingly simple and is sure to appeal if you are a fan of minimalism. Minimalist does not often evoke feelings of comfort but in this instance the curved arm of the sofa softens the look and creates a feeling of immense comfort and relaxation. The Sigma is available in all Natuzzi leathers as well as a leather / fabric mix, which produces a unique, textured, up-to-the-minute look. In addition it comes with the option for either metal or wooden feet allowing for total personalisation.
Last but not least is the classic Clyde sofa. Simple yet strong and robust, you can see straight away that this sofa has been designed exclusively with comfort in mind. It is available in a huge range of options from a single armchair to a sectional corner unit with chaise longue. A manual or electric recline function is available on all versions except the chaise, ensuring that where relaxation is concerned, this model is king. You can even combine the recline function with a movable headrest, which can be adjusted in both height and angle, and as with all Natuzzi models the Clyde is available in countless leathers. If you like extra attention to detail then there is always the option of contrast stitching and piping around the arm to add that special finishing touch.
Being able to personalise your sofa is so important considering that it is one of the few items you will keep for a number of years, “Our customers recognize that when they buy a Natuzzi sofa they are making an investment in a product that has longevity. Natuzzi is renowned for its high quality craftsmanship and all of our furniture is made in Italy to the highest standards” said Liz and Robert Mynett, Natuzzi Cardiff. “Considering how much time we spend on our sofas, it makes sense to purchase something that absolutely meets your personal style and comfort needs. Natuzzi’s ability to customise ensures that you receive a final product that does just that”.
The Natuzzi store is located in Cardiff’s fashionable Mermaid Quay, just next to St David’s Hotel. It is a great time to visit as if you order before the end of September you can guarantee delivery of your new sofa in time for Christmas. The store is also running an exclusive promotion with St David’s Hotel to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary – if you spend £1,000 or more you will receive a £200 voucher to enjoy at the hotel, restaurant or spa.
